In July 2005, based on the strength of the guidance and work that came from the Board of Trustees (Board), the AGD2010 Task Force, and the AGD2010 Innovation through Involvement Conference, the new AGD2010 Strategic Plan was presented to the House Of Delegates (HOD).

It was overwhelmingly approved.

Our next steps:

  1. The AGD2010 Strategic Plan will be implemented throughout the organization.
  2. AGD staff, with the help of the top three elected officers, will establish a system to efficiently charge each council/committee according to the Goals and Objectives of the AGD2010 Strategic Plan.
  3. The structure of the plan will dictate the actions of each council/committee.
  4. Each of the goals and objectives will be reviewed by the Board on an annual basis.
