| Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE):
The PACE department is a resource for members and program providers who have questions about continuing education program approval. Some of the services under the purview of the PACE department include:
- Helping members identify quality continuing dental education
- Explaining PACE guidelines to program providers
- Overseeing the application review process for national PACE approval
- Acting as a resource for local Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) approval representatives
- Maintaining an up-to-date database of active providers
The PACE department works with the Committee on PACE to ensure that all national applications are reviewed objectively and that guidelines remain fair and relevant to help ensure quality continuing dental education.
